A hardy, versatile, evergreen indoor houseplant with attractive ornamental foliage. It grows well outdoors in sheltered garden spots in warmer climates.

These have large, shiny, leathery leaves and grow up from a central stem.

There is also a variegated version which is known as the Ficus Elastica ‘Tricolour’ that has pink and cream coloured patches on a green background.

Ficus Elastica, commonly known as the Rubber Plant or Rubber Tree, is a popular indoor plant prized for its glossy, leathery leaves and air-purifying qualities.

Ficus Elastica is relatively easy to care for and can thrive in a variety of indoor environments. It is tolerant of low light conditions and irregular watering, making it suitable for beginners or those with busy lifestyles.
